This website is operated by Alba Seafood, a Scottish business supplying fresh fish and smoked seafood for UK delivery.

2. Ordering
Orders can be placed through our website at any time.
All orders received by the end of Tuesday are dispatched on Thursday for Tracked Next Day Delivery (Friday delivery).
Orders placed after Tuesday will be dispatched the following week.
If you need a specific delivery date or have any questions, please contact us before placing your order via our web chat or by email at info@albaseafood.com.
All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of price. By placing an order, you confirm that you are aged 18 or over and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. Prices and Payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (ยฃ) and include VAT where applicable.
Payment is taken in full at the time of order through our secure online checkout.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time, though this will not affect orders already placed and confirmed.
4. Delivery
We dispatch all orders on Thursdays, using Tracked Next Day Delivery, to ensure products arrive in peak condition on Friday.
Deliveries are made using chilled, insulated packaging designed to maintain product temperature for up to 48 hours from dispatch.
Please ensure someone is available to receive the parcel. Once delivery has been made to the address provided, responsibility for the product passes to you.
In exceptional circumstances such as adverse weather, courier delays, or events beyond our control, your parcel may arrive on Saturday. We cannot accept liability for delays caused by factors outside our reasonable control.
We currently deliver within the UK mainland only. Some remote areas may take longer โ please contact us before ordering if you are unsure.
5. Cancellations and Returns
Because our products are perishable, orders cannot be cancelled or returned once they have been dispatched. This exemption is in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
If your delivery arrives damaged, delayed beyond safe consumption, or incorrect, please notify us within 24 hours of receipt by emailing info@albaseafood.com.
Include:
- Your order number
- Photos of the packaging and product
- A short description of the issue
We will review the matter promptly. If appropriate, we will arrange a replacement or refund. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5โ7 working days.
We cannot offer refunds or replacements if:
- You provided an incorrect delivery address
- Delivery was attempted but no one was available to receive it
- The product has been mishandled or not refrigerated promptly after delivery
6. Product Information and Allergens
We take care to ensure that all product descriptions, images, and prices are accurate. However, minor variations may occur due to the natural characteristics of fresh produce.
Allergen information is provided based on supplier data. Fish and shellfish products may contain bones or shell fragments. Customers with allergies or specific dietary requirements should contact us before ordering.
7. Limitation of Liability
Alba Seafoodโs responsibility for any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses once goods have been delivered in accordance with your instructions.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Scottish law, and any disputes will be handled by the Scottish courts.
